Gabriella Fiore is a Ph.D. student in the area of Control of Complex Systems at the Department of Information Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics, Center of Excellence DEWS, University of L’Aquila. She is advised by Prof. M.D. Di Benedetto. Her research interests focus on modeling and control of cyber-physical systems, with a particular emphasis on security and reliability.
She received her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree (summa cum laude) in Electronic Engineering (Microelectronic) from the University of L’Aquila. She has been a visiting student at the ABB Corporate Research in Västerås (Sweden), where she developed her Master Thesis proposing a scheduling algorithm for a WirelessHART based industrial automation network. She obtained the Master's Thesis Award in Networking technologies, sponsored by Internet Society italia and Reiss Romoli srl.
From March to August 2015 she was a visiting student researcher at the EECS Department, UC Berkeley, working in the group of Prof. C. Tomlin.
