I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics (DISIM), University of L'Aquila (Univaq), Italy.

Graduated in Computer Science at the University of L'Aquila in 1993, PhD at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" completed in 1998.

• My research interests revolve around the specification, design, verification and implementation of efficient algorithms. Specific areas of interest include distributed algorithms, combinatorial optimization, algorithm engineering, algorithmic graph theory, spatial and geometric data.

• I've always been passionate about software design and related technology, which is why my courses are related to software engineering and web programming.
