I was born in 1983 in Teramo, Italy. In April 2008 I received the M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of L'Aquila (Italy), under the supervision of Prof. Fortunato Santucci. In January 2013 I received the Ph.D. degree in Telecommunications from the School of Electrical Engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology, under the supervision of Prof. Karl Henrik Johansson and Prof. Carlo Fischione.

From August 2014 to August 2019, I worked at Ericsson Research as a project manager and researcher in the area of radio networks for machine-type communications, and I was standardization delegate in the Bluetooth SIG.

In August 2019, I joined the University of L'Aquila as an assistant professor in Telecommunications.
