Short Bio

I am a fixed-term researcher (Ricercatore RTD-A) in Mathematical Analysis at the Department of Information Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics, University of L’Aquila (since August 2024). I obtained my PhD in Mathematical Analysis, Modelling and Applications from SISSA (Trieste, Italy) in 2019. My research focuses on problems in the Calculus of Variations and Partial Differential Equations. My research topics include Fracture dynamics and damage in continuum mechanics, Mathematical models of elasticity, plasticity, and dislocations, Gamma-convergence and asymptotic analysis of local and nonlocal energies, Variational methods for elliptic PDEs involving fractional operator.
