Barbara Nelli is a professor in geometry. 

Currently  President of the Corso di Laurea in Matematica at the University of L'Aquila.

Member of the Collegio dei Docenti of the PhD program Matematica and Modelli.

Member of the Pubication and Electronic Dissemination Commitee of the European Mathematical Society.

Vice President of the Italian Mathematical Union 2018-2021.

PhD: Paris VII, 1995.

Research interests: differential geometry, in particular problems related to the theory of submanifolds with some curvature costraint.
